Unfortunately, I have to leave Hamburg and I’m now looking for someone to take over my apartment.
The rent is €647 per month and includes all costs — even electricity and water. The apartment is part of a student housing complex, but you’ll have your own private bathroom and a small kitchenette with a stove and sink. There are also communal ovens available in the shared kitchen areas.
The atmosphere in the flat is very welcoming. The other residents are super friendly, and it’s always easy to have a nice chat in the kitchen. The building offers several shared spaces, including a study room, a laundry room with washing machines, and a rooftop terrace for everyone to enjoy. Vacuum cleaners can be borrowed from the caretaker's office, which also accepts your packages if you're not at home. The student house also has a lift, so you don’t have to worry about climbing the stairs :)
Also you don’t need to worry about furniture — the apartment comes fully furnished with a bed, desk, chair, and cupboards.
There’s a supermarket just around the corner — less than a 2-minute walk from the apartment. Several other supermarkets are also within easy walking distance, about 10 minutes away.
Two bus stops are located just 4 minutes from the apartment. From there, buses usually take you directly to Harburg Rathaus station. Due to ongoing construction work at Harburg station, buses currently don’t stop directly at the station — but it’s still only about a 10-minute walk.
The apartment is located on a quiet and well-maintained street, close to Harburg’s beautiful inland harbour (Binnenhafen) :)
As it is student housing, you need to be enrolled in an educational program. You can choose between a 6- or 12-month rental contract, and there’s the possibility to extend it after that.
