Wir sind das bunte Haus in der Straße, das immer verschlossen wirkt, aber eigentlich ganz lieb ist. 2018 haben wir es geschafft, das Haus zusammen mit dem Mietshäuser Syndikat zu kaufen und dadurch für immer zu sichern. Hier drinnen haben wir ein schönes Zusammenleben aufgebaut und wollen ein Gegengewicht zu dem rechten Sumpf vor der Tür bilden. Dafür gibt es den Verein für ein Multikulturelles Europa e.V., der hier Räume mietet und mit Veranstaltungen und Infrastruktur seit 30 Jahren in die Stadt reinwirkt. Außerdem leben hier um die 6 Leute in unserer WG zusammen. Auf den Sofas in der Wohnküche sitzt im Winter eigentlich immer jemand rum. Und spätestens zum Abendessen kommen viele Leute dazu, weil immer eine Person abwechselnd für alle kocht. Hier reden wir über unseren Tag und was uns bewegt, diskutieren über politische Dinge und tun so, als wären wir lustig. Wenn es peinliches Schweigen gibt, kommt meistens eine unserer 2 Katzen angerannt und macht was tolles – zum Beispiel niedlich gucken. Im Sommer findet das Ganze im Garten statt.
Unsere Kosten teilen wir solidarisch miteinander. Wenn es menschlich passt, finden wir immer eine Lösung, mehr dazu in Sonstiges.
Unser Alltag sieht sehr unterschiedlich aus. Einige rennen morgens, mittags oder abends zur Schule, zur Arbeit oder zur Uni. Andere bleiben einfach da. Ansonsten klingelt es immer mal wieder oder Menschen lassen sich selbst rein. Dadurch kommen immer wieder unerwartet schöne und spannende Begegnungen zu Stande. Wir haben ein starkes Netzwerk und einen solidarischen Unterstützungskreis.
Um das alles am Leben zu erhalten, gibt es einige Aufgaben, die woanders nicht anfallen. Wir sind selbstverwaltet. Das heißt, dass wir selbst Hausmeister*in, Vermieter*in, Mieter*in, Veranstalteter*in und Verwaltung sind. Wir treffen uns wöchentlich zum ca. 2 stündigen Plenum, im Moment auf deutsch. Einmal im Monat machen wir Arbeitseinsätze, um die Sanierung des Altbaus voranzutreiben und offene Aufgaben nachzuholen. Die meisten Aufgaben werden durch AGs fortlaufend organisiert. Dabei gilt viele Hände, schnelles Ende :) Zusätzlich haben wir einen Putzplan und müssen unsere Haushalt erledigen. Natürlich wissen wir, dass verschiedene Menschen verschieden viele Kapazitäten haben. Du sollst uns nicht ersetzen, sondern in deinem Rahmen eine Ergänzung für unsere Gruppe sein. Der wichtigste Grundsatz für uns ist, dass ein gutes Miteinander über allem steht. Das schönste Haus bringt nichts, wenn niemand mehr drin wohnen möchte.

Die Straße ist zwar aus Kopfsteinpflaster, aber nicht so stark befahren. Alle Zimmer haben Heizungen, einige noch zusätzlich die alten Öfen. Die kleineren liegen bei 11 qm, die größeren bei 19qm bei einer Höhe von ca. 3m. Hellhörig sind alle :) wir können dir Möbel geben, du kannst aber auch deine eigenen mitbringen. Wir sind ein teilsanierter Altbau. Es kann und wird immer wieder zu Baulärm, Dreck und Einschränkungen kommen. Die beziehbaren Zimmer sind aber alle fertig, warm, haben sicheren Strom und schauen gut aus. Mittlerweile sind überall schöne Altbaudielen freigelegt. Komm gern einfach vorbei!
