The flat is perfect for a single person, it has a very nice bathroom with a window, lovely kitchen and an entrance hall. The main room has two windows, surprisingly spacious and very comfortable place to live (I have a double bed, tv unit, sofa and three tables and still have plenty of room).
The flat is within the ring, on the crossing between the M4 and the M10, both go right underneath the building and is 5 min walk to the S-bahn. The connectivity to the rest of the city is great and fast.
It is 4 tram stops from Alexanderplatz, in a really nice, quiet and beautiful area. There are two wonderful parks in a short walking distance(5-7 min), many nice restaurants and coffee shops, bars and hangout spots.
The neighbours are quiet and nice, the landlord is extremely helpful and will fix anything in case it's needing repair.
I bought a washing machine 4 months ago that I would be interested in selling to the next tenant. The flat I'm moving to is also in the same building and I will be taking most of my things, though there might be some furniture I will be leaving, not sure yet which.
The landlord wants schufa (request now) , certificate of freedom of rent arrears, paycheck copy or a bank statement (something to show you have the means to pay for the flat).
