1 room for rent in a 3 room renovated altbau in Wedding/Gesundbrunnen. The apartment is available from June 1 onwards until October 1 with the possibility to extend given all goes well. The move in date is flexible (latest July 1) so please feel free to reach out, but must be until October. The cold rent is 475 / per person and total rent with absolutely everything included (wifi, electricity, heat, gez) is 695 euros / person.
The room itself is a large 25 sq m with parquet wooden floors, beautiful high ceiling, and several large street-facing windows. The apartment is on the first floor, is 90+ sq m and has a large, shared living room and 1 other bedroom which is occupied by my flatmate. There is a large balcony, separate kitchen and pantry, bathroom with both bathtub and shower, a storage closet, and many tall windows that get afternoon sun. The windows and balcony were recently renovated, so the noise and insulation is great (stays warm in winter, cold in summer).
The bedroom comes partly furnished. The kitchen and living room are fully equipped/furnished and fit for home office, with everything you need, including some fun other perks like: clothes washer and dryer, dishwasher (!), air fryer, pasta machine, kitchen mixer, brand new oven, and our Roomba robot vacuum which comes in handy cleaning :)

The apartment is located directly next to the bus stop St. Elisabeth Kirchhof (M27, 250, and 255).
It is a 5 minute walk from S Wollankstraße (S1, S25, S26) and 2 stops from the ring at Gesundbrunnen.
St Elisabeth Kirchhof is directly behind the apartment and is quite beautiful to walk through. There are many trees and greenery looking out from the kitchen window and the apartment remains quiet while at the still time being very accessible to transport and restaurants.
Your roommate will be a 23 year old German American, Loïc, who speaks fluent German and English. He works from home (usually living room, which is great for home office) at the moment and is quite easy going, enjoys cooking, visiting parks, and is usually up for sharing a beer or wine on the balcony! He keeps the apartment clean, and would like someone who will do the same and respect the items in the apartment.
