The room we're renting is about 12m2 big. It is bright and has a large window. If you'd need more storage or living space you're more than welcome to built a platform bed or something like that. You can also use the hallway to store some of your stuff outside of your room. The street the room is facing is pretty quiet. You can hear the Georg-Schwarz-Straße but for people that are not super sensitive when it comes to noise it should be okay. The room costs 285.

We really like it here. There are grociery stores just around the corner, a pizzaria beneath our flat, the tram station is just a few metres away, by bike you can be at the central station in about 15 minutes and the Auwald ist just five minutes away. There are several queer projects on Georg-Schwarz-Straße that are in development at the moment, which is pretty cool!
Was die Pandemie halt gerade so hergibt.

Disclaimer: We know that our ad sounds super sweet, because empathetic and appreciative communication are important to us, but that doesn't mean that we are up for deluded globetrotters and hippies. Since we are getting more and more inquiries from this milieu, it seemed important to us to mention this beforehand.
We, L-, R., B. and our dog Tara, are looking for a new roomie for our FLINTA* (women, lesbians, inter-, non-binary-, trans* persons and agender) shared flat in the west of Leipzig.
Living together in community and solidarity is super important for us. As a basis for this we see an empathic, appreciative and open communication, which also allows space for proper fuck off about the conditions of the world. We try to communicate regularly about our WG dynamics in order to be able to eliminate possible points of conflict. Yes, it may also sometimes crash, as long as we can talk about it.
We all work and/or study. Because of this, we all have a need for quiet times. Of course, if you have to get up at 6 o'clock the next morning, you don't want to listen to loud music until late at night the night before. At the same time, we also long for a balance in form of parties, long evenings in the kitchen or visitors. We like to be out and about in many different ways: bicycle tours, picking mushrooms, going out to eat, jogging, visiting museums, going to demos, concerts or even hiking. Whatever is possible during a pandemic.
The three of us have known each other for more or less a long time. B. and R. have already lived together in Marburg. L. and R. live in a partnership.
Our dog Tara is always happy about flatmates who want to spend time with her and who want to take responsibility for her, but that's not a must! Tara is super easy to care for, calm and cuddly. She has few needs other than super extensive cuddles and walks.
We all have stuff that drives us around and we want like an environment in which it is possible to support each other and to talk about our problems in a solution-oriented way. We all don't feel comfortable with mostly superficial exchanges, but of course we can chat for an hour about the best pudding, the latest Netflix series or political stuff.
Speaking of political stuff, we were or are all politically active. On the internet we don't want to talk about that more. But it is important to us that we all share an anti-fascist and queer-friendly consensus.
What is super important to us though is that we share the responsibility for cooking during the week. At the moment we have a food cashbox, into which each of us pays 80 Euro/month, we share all food and in the evening there is always something warm on the stove. Besides, we don't really like cleaning schedules. At the moment we meet on Monday evenings for a WG evening. In this context we talk about upcoming repro work or orga stuff and also like to play Wizzard. Additionally, this date always offers the possibility to just sit together and chat.
We are all socialized in this world, but we just don't want to discuss some basic things in our home anymore - Any form of sexism, racism, anti-Semitism and other forms of discrimination have no place with us, but reflection about it of course does!
